Board appoints Kirk Giovannini to Planning Commission and confirms pro‑tem selection

The planning commission also recommended Frank Hook to fill the pro tem role after discussion of advertisement timing and code provisions.
Eisler told commissioners he and county counsel had reviewed whether the pro tem position needed a new advertisement and determined the planning commission could select the pro tem from current applicants given the short gap between advertisement rounds. Commissioners discussed the matter briefly and approved Order 2025-28 by voice vote.
The action fills the open seat and confirms the planning commission's recommendation so the commission can have a full panel for future hearings. The board did not identify any state-law conflicts on the record; Eisler said he was unaware of any.
