The Temple City Council unanimously adopted a resolution on July 17 approving the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) consolidated plan for 2025–2029 and the 2025–26 annual action plan, including staff funding recommendations.
Planner Miss Chopin told the council that consultants had presented the plans at a prior meeting and that the presentation was available for review. The council opened the final public hearing; no members of the public spoke on the item. After closing the hearing Council Member Pilkington moved, and Council Member Grant seconded, a motion to approve the plans as presented. The council recorded a 5–0 vote in favor.
The resolution authorizes the consolidated plan and the annual action plan and endorses the funding recommendations included in the staff presentation. Staff will proceed with program administration consistent with the adopted action plan and federal CDBG requirements.
