The Salt Lake City School District Board of Education held an extended discussion on July 15 about revisions to the district’s strategic plan and a new implementation tracker intended to monitor progress toward goals through 2029.
Associate Superintendent Annalise Ruiz presented the implementation approach and a quarterly progress monitoring tool intended to align goals, board objectives and resources with measurable outcomes. Ruiz said the tracker will include measurable outcomes, action steps, responsible leaders and a timeline for quarterly check-ins. She told the board the district is adding a resources field to tie staff and funding to each action.
