Napa County has launched a comprehensive update to its Baseline Data Report (BDR), a foundational dataset that will serve as the technical backbone for the county’s forthcoming general plan update and environmental impact report, county officials said.
The BDR is intended to offer a research-based snapshot of current conditions across the county and to inform planning decisions about growth, resource preservation and future challenges. County staff are inviting public input and have posted a BDR project website at countyofnapa.org/bdr.
Three virtual public workshops are scheduled for July 24, July 30 and July 31; the county encouraged residents to register online to participate. No budget or timeline for the overall general plan update was provided in the briefing.
