The City Council adopted Resolution No. 8707 approving the list of delinquent municipal accounts for submittal to the county auditor-controller for assessment on the 2025–26 tax roll. Finance Director Garcia told the council that at the time the staff report printed there were 29 delinquent accounts owing about $25,750; since printing 13 accounts paid approximately $11,480, leaving 16 accounts owing about $14,270. Account holders have until August 4 for payment before the amounts are placed on the county tax roll.
Approval authorizes the county to add these assessments to property tax bills if account holders do not remit payment. No written public comments were received and no speakers addressed the item during the public hearing.
The council adopted the resolution by unanimous roll-call vote: Councilmember Barich, Councilmember Tejeda, Councilmember Davis, Mayor Pro Tem Shaw and Mayor Sacedo voted yes.
