The Waukesha City Licensing Committee approved a package of licenses by voice vote, granting permanent and temporary retailer permits and other licenses listed on the agenda.
A committee member moved to approve the following licenses: Crush Wine Bar Sidewalk Cafe; Latin American Fiesta, temporary Class B and Class B retailers; Luau with Friends, temporary Class B and Class B retailers; Main Street Shell, Class A beer and cider; Slice of Waukesha, Class B beer and liquor combo with amusement and jukebox; and Trio Pawn Shop, pawn broker license. Another member seconded the motion.
The committee conducted a voice vote. Committee members recorded on the record included Hulbensleben (aye), Van Trieste (aye) and Minyon (aye). The committee chair announced the motion passed.
The votes approved both temporary event permits (the two Class B temporary licenses) and permanent retail licenses. Committee staff did not provide individual vote tallies for all members beyond the on-the-record aye statements; the chair said the motion passed and no objections were raised.
The approved licenses will be processed administratively and any required follow-up paperwork handled by the clerk's office.
