Marathon County Administrator Leonard briefed the executive committee on how he organized the 2025 county work plan and said he will circulate an updated version for supervisors to review before a fuller discussion at the next meeting.
Leonard said he would not walk the committee through the full document because supervisors had limited time to review it and the work plan was not included in the meeting packet. He described how projects are grouped into categories — facilities-related, operational, budget and financial, miscellaneous directives, and intergovernmental partner work — and explained that each project also carries a vote total from the board—s prior prioritization exercise.
Leonard said he inadvertently left vote totals off a few line items when he first sent the document and committed to sending an updated file. He noted the top vote counts for three named projects: project 1a received 17 votes, project 1b received 3 votes and project 1c received 13 votes. Leonard invited supervisors to send questions by email and said he would be prepared to review the work plan in detail at the committee—s next meeting.
No formal action was taken on the work plan at the meeting.
