Mendocino County subdivision panel approves four boundary line adjustments, continues one to Aug. 14

The Mendocino County Subdivision Committee on July 10 approved four coastal and inland boundary line adjustments and continued a fifth to Aug. 14 after committee members raised questions about a structure that appears to span a proposed new lot line.

Committee members approved a coastal boundary line adjustment reconfiguring two lots near Fort Bragg and three additional adjustments affecting parcels in Philo, near Willits, and within the Brooktrails Vacation Village. The committee continued one case in Philo to allow staff and the applicant to clarify whether an overhang or storage structure crossing a proposed new line will be removed or otherwise addressed before the boundary line adjustment is completed.

Committee staff recommended approval for each item except the Philo case, which staff asked to continue to allow follow-up with the applicant. During discussion, a staff member noted a small acreage discrepancy on the Fort Bragg case and Environmental Health and transportation staff raised questions about existing structures and future subdivisions in the Philo application.
