The minutes were approved on a motion by Commissioner Parker and a second by Commissioner Bailey. Financial statements were approved following a motion by Commissioner De Lott and a second by Commissioner Parker. No public opposition to either motion was recorded during the meeting.
After public comment and other agenda items, Commissioner Harris moved to adjourn and Commissioner Byrd seconded; the motion carried and the meeting was adjourned. Commissioners confirmed that no action would be taken at the July 8 meeting on the East Feliciana Parish Police Jury—s resolution opposing reservoir options; the resolution will be placed on the commission—s next monthly meeting agenda.
