Council amends concession agreement to allow 24/7 ice vending at Schoolhouse Slough convenience store

The amendment adds an Exhibit B to the existing management and operation agreement and authorizes execution of the amended agreement. Council members recorded a unanimous vote in favor during the special meeting that began with a roll call establishing a quorum.
City staff told the council the ice vending machine would be an added amenity for the Schoolhouse Slough community and that the concessionaire would be fully responsible for installation and ongoing maintenance. If the concession ends or the lease changes, the city will have the option to purchase the machine or the concessionaire may remove it.
No additional long-term obligations by the city were identified in the discussion, and the motion received no recorded amendments. The council adopted the amendment by roll call.
