The court approved $56,125.87 in budget transfers to close out the prior fiscal year and then approved cash transfers moving general‑fund dollars to multiple departments: $100,000 to the road department; $200,000 to the jail; $200,000 to EMS; $20,000 to fleet; and a $60,156.85 transfer from the opioid account to EMS to cover a fourth‑quarter salary for an EMS employee. Finance staff reported the current bill packet totaled $1,487,532.99 and with two add‑ons — the city of Danville E‑911 payment for $2,074.38 and an HIA reimbursement for $100 — the grand total for bills was $1,489,707.37.
