The project installs permanent signals related to the Pine View widening and will likely complete this fall, staff said. Vote: unanimous.
- Percival Road sidewalk project contingency increase (Agenda item 4d): Approved a change order authorization increasing the construction amount by $250,000 for a total approved amount of $3,690,506.40. Staff said the increase covers previously unidentified items, required DOT construction elements, additional water main relocations and erosion-control work discovered during construction. Vote: unanimous.
- Broad River Road at Farming Creek Road traffic signal (Agenda item 4e): Awarded to Cherokee Inc. on a low bid of $242,008.72 with a 15% contingency for a total approved amount of $279,257.63. Staff said the signal will provide traffic control for long-term widening plans and as part of a detour for a future bridge project over railroad tracks. Vote: unanimous.
No motions were recorded as failing or tabled. Staff provided schedule and public meeting updates and noted upcoming public information meetings including a July 24 Jackson Creek Greenway meeting at the Decker Center.
