Leesburg council backs staff review of garage rates and payment tech; agrees to pursue higher hourly rate
Summary
After reviewing use, costs and options for the town-hall parking garage, council agreed to combine staff options to raise hourly fees and update payment technology, directing staff to return with a detailed proposal. The garage currently offers the first two hours free, charges $1 per hour thereafter and totals about $140,000 in annual revenue.
