The Fremont County Board of County Commissioners approved a secure-transportation service vehicle permit renewal on July 8, 2025, for American Medical Response (AMR). The permit covers one Type 1 secured-transport vehicle, described in the meeting record as a 2005 Ford Expedition.
County Attorney Eric Bellas explained that secure-transport services require a permit for each vehicle and that a Type 1 secured vehicle has a physical barrier between the driver and passenger. The renewal request identified the company as American Medical Response Ambulance Service, Inc., a Delaware corporation doing business in Colorado as American Medical Response.
The board passed the renewal by motion and unanimous roll call. No new conditions or restrictions were read into the record during the approval.
