The applicants presented a drawing showing a proposed accessory building approximately 30 feet long. Commission members confirmed the structure’s height will be 9 feet, which exceeds the 8-foot minimum. They noted the accessory building will sit about 44–45 feet from the main building and well beyond the required 5-foot side and rear setbacks. Commissioners also discussed the building’s distance from a nearby school fence and from the road; staff and applicants referenced a Google Earth estimate that placed the front setback at roughly 40 feet from the road.
Logan moved to approve the building permit; Tyler seconded the motion, and commissioners voted in favor. After approval, staff said they would have applicants sign permit paperwork and provide copies for the file.
