The Owasso Economic Development Committee on July 1 approved staff’s recommendation to consent to a property transfer, waive the city’s right of first refusal, terminate recorded deed restrictions tied to the previous sale terms and record a revised set of deed restrictions for an industrial parcel at 840 South 60 Sixth Avenue.
ED Manager Lynch described the property as an industrial lot south of Highway 29 with an existing offer to buy; the packet included a buyer identified as “4 Gen Enterprises to RSAI Flash 01” and correspondence from a party (Robert Fleishinski) asking whether the city would exercise its right of first refusal. Lynch said the buyer accepted the revised deed restrictions and staff recommended the committee approve consent and related recordation actions so the sale could proceed.
Alder Tierney moved approval and Alder Killian seconded. The committee voted in favor and the chair stated the motion passed. Staff said the action is an approval to forward the consent documentation to council for final processing and recordation.
