The Planning Commission approved on the consent agenda the final site plan for Buena Beef at Alexander Commercial Phase 2 (261 East Main Street, parcel 159JA017). Lead staff described the lot as the third and final lot in the Alexander Commercial development across from City Hall; recent adjacent projects include Fast Pace Urgent Care and an upcoming Starbucks.
Applicant architect Eric Peterson said the team will submit building-permit documents around July 14 and expects a 6–7 month construction schedule, targeting an opening in early next year. Staff told commissioners the applicant has agreed to staff comments and will work with staff to finish remaining items before permits issue. The consent motion, which included staff comments, passed by voice and roll call with a 7-0 vote.
