Staff noted the quad remains usable by the public for informal use; removal from the rental schedule is meant to reduce conflicts when the park is simultaneously hosting other events or experiencing high daily use. The council voted to approve the removal as presented.
No budget changes were required; staff said the decision can be revisited if the town later reconfigures parking or develops other park amenities.
