Board approves appointment of Nia Grisby as assistant principal at Memorial Middle School

A motion to approve the superintendent’s recommendation was made by Board member Heather Duncan and seconded by Akita Palmer. Chairwoman Jackson Litt called for any further discussion; there was none.
The appointment was announced at 8:00 p.m. after the board exited executive session. The board concluded the meeting immediately after several final motions, recording a 7-0 vote on the appointment and on adjournment.
