Several members raised the possibility of securing an air demonstration or flyover (F-16 or C-17 were mentioned) but said any flyover would depend on military scheduling and require advance coordination and approvals.
For Veterans Day planning, members discussed assigning an emcee, confirming shirts and uniforms for commissioners, requesting color guard/honor guard participation, contacting the Huber Heights Chamber of Commerce for promotion, and issuing a single, finalized time-and-location notice to media to avoid confusion. The commission asked members to identify volunteers for emcee and outreach tasks and to return with a firm timeline and list of contacts at the next meeting.
