Carson City — The V&T Railway Commission approved a one‑year contract to create and populate content for its redesigned website and set an initial go‑live target to support Polar Express ticketing.
Commissioners on June 25 approved a contract using the State of Nevada master agreement with KPS3 for content creation and population of a redesigned V&T website at a not‑to‑exceed amount of $17,725 for the July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026 contract year.
Commission staff said a grant will pay roughly half of the $17,725 contract. The scope covers building 21 pages of content, moving administrative and financial records off the public guest pages and completing an initial set of pages to be published in August so the site is available before Polar Express ticketing.
Sherry Bailey, the commission’s executive assistant, and staff said KPS3 is under the statewide solicitation (99SWC‑S2340) and the vendor is ready to proceed. Commissioners approved the contract by unanimous voice vote and asked staff to provide draft pages for an August preview at the commission meeting.
