"Our dates are right after Labor Day, that fifth, sixth, seventh," Alexander said. She said raffle ticket sales would be conducted from a single booth or pavilion space and that the Fall Fest committee planned to coordinate placement with village staff.
Board members discussed whether allowing one community group to sell raffle tickets at village beer‑garden events would set a precedent; several trustees said similar solicitations already occur and that a specified pavilion or mapped booth space should be identified on the event permit. Village staff said they would work with organizers to specify a location on the special‑event map.
The board voted to approve the Fall Fest special‑event application and to issue a temporary Class B beer and wine retailers license for the event. The board also approved a temporary operator (bartender) license for Gavin Taylor III to serve during Fall Fest. Trustee Tom (staff liaison) said he would work with the applicants on a pavilion location and rental fee details for the Thursday alcohol sales.
