The Village of Jackson Board of Public Works on June 24 approved contract amendment No. 2 for Grama and Associates for engineering services for 2025–26. Staff said the village currently holds an agreement with Grama and Associates for $193,450 for Hawthorne, Aspen and Linden projects; the amendment adds $108,375, bringing the total to $301,825.
Board member Heckendorf moved the recommendation that Budget & Finance and the Village Board approve the contract amendment; Engelhardt seconded. A board member asked whether work associated with rural-reconstruction options (which had been reviewed for Eagle Drive) required the additional $171,000 figure discussed in the memo; staff clarified the amendment adds $108,375 to the existing $193,450 agreement to reach the stated total.
The board approved the amendment by voice vote. Staff said the added scope covers additional design work tied to the CIP projects discussed earlier in the meeting and that the amendment will be forwarded to Budget & Finance and the Village Board for final approval and payment authorization.
