The proposed dock was described as a minor aspect of the business: staff indicated the tenant may receive two or three large trucks a week and ship out small vehicles or parcels several times weekly.
Planning staff noted DRC comments were limited to standard architectural matching of materials and color to the existing building, and engineering comments were minor. The fire department confirmed site access was adequate. The commission approved the site plan and architectural approval in separate votes; both motions passed unanimously.
Staff will require the applicant to address the listed minor engineering and architectural comments as part of the permit process.
