The City of Miami Civil Service Board voted on June 24, 2025, to cancel the scheduled July 22 and Aug. 5, 2025 meetings to accommodate member availability. Board Member Soleiman moved to cancel the two dates; Board Member Jimenez seconded, and the motion was approved by voice vote.
Board staff noted July 8, 2025, was an open date that could be used if parties in pending hearings could agree to reschedule there. If not, the board indicated August 19 and Sept. 16 as the next available meeting dates. Staff said they would contact parties and employees to determine availability and report back to the board.
The cancellations were presented as administrative scheduling to reflect member availability and the current status of hearings pending on the board's calendar.
