Public-health staff said the City of Ashland building inspector has visited both locations and recommended raze orders; staff said the city will follow up with orders, placard notifications and newspaper postings required for public notice.
The committee was provided the update because of the severe conditions and potential legal steps (appeal and raze orders). Public-health staff said they will continue to coordinate with the City of Ashland on enforcement and notification steps.
