The Sarpy County Board of Commissioners appointed Tim Henderson as director of the Veterans Service Office on June 17.
Assistant County Administrator Tom Daugherty told commissioners the director position had been filled from a competitive pool of more than 70 applicants and that the selection committee recommended the interim VSO director, Tim Henderson. Henderson spoke briefly and said he was pleased to continue serving veterans and their families. The board approved the appointment unanimously on a motion by Commissioner Warren, seconded by Commissioner Kelly.
