Commerce City recognizes DEI Commission update, proclaims Juneteenth and National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month

The DEI Commission provided its annual presentation to council before the consent agenda. During the consent discussion, the council pulled two items for recognition: a proclamation declaring June 19, 2025, as Juneteenth Day in Commerce City, and a proclamation declaring July 2025 as National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month in Commerce City. Both proclamations were read and recognized on the record.
After those proclamations, the council approved the remaining five consent-agenda items unanimously with one excused absence. The consent agenda originally comprised seven items; two were pulled for the separate recognition noted above.
