The Sandy City Council voted unanimously to extend its legal services agreement with the firm Kaudelah for one additional year, from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. The council approved including a 2% contract increase, which staff said is already budgeted in the tentative FY26 budget.
Council staff asked for authority to finalize and execute the extension. Council member comments were brief; no public comment was offered on the item. The vote was recorded by roll call and passed 7–0.
