Assembly adopts HR 13 recognizing Read Across America Day

The California State Assembly on Feb. 11 adopted House Resolution 13, recognizing Read Across America Day and urging celebration of literacy statewide.

Assemblymember Al Muratsuchi introduced the resolution and asked colleagues to join him in celebrating Read Across America Day. He described the observance as “the nation's largest celebration of reading, encouraging every child in every community to celebrate reading.”
