Brookings — The Brookings City Council approved the Jan. 27 consent calendar by vote during the meeting.
The consent calendar included six items: approval of council minutes for Jan. 13, 2025; receipt of the December 2024 monthly financial report; and reappointments of Ryan Renaud to the budget committee, Theresa Mercurio and Dan Bratton to the Parks and Recreation Commission, and Michael E. Worthy to the Parks and Recreation Commission.
A councilor made a motion to approve the consent calendar and another councilor seconded. During roll call the clerk recorded affirmative votes. Councilor Martin, Councilor Fulton, Councilor Pereira, Councilor Malmberg and Mayor Hodges voted yes; the mayor announced the motion carries.
No separate public debate was recorded on individual consent items and no additional council directions were read into the record at the time of the vote.
