Commissioners of the Green River Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously appointed Steph Crabtree chair at the start of the Jan. 21 meeting after a brief nomination process, commissioners said.
The meeting opened with the vice chair acting temporarily and taking nominations. A nomination for Steph Crabtree was made and seconded; the motion passed with multiple commissioners responding "Aye" and the chair appointment was confirmed.
The commission then discussed whether to nominate a vice chair for the remainder of the year; no formal vice-chair nomination was recorded during the meeting. The vice chair said the seat is the current position through December of this year and that the council had reappointed them at the last council meeting, explaining why an initial temporary chairing arrangement was used.
The commissioners did not take additional formal action on an interim vice-chair at the Jan. 21 session.
