Bucks County Drug & Alcohol Commission seeks community input for prevention needs assessment

Rizzotti told commissioners the agency receives its largest funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) and that DDAP mandates periodic community assessments. Perotti said the county already uses the Pennsylvania Youth Survey (with about 20,000 responses in Bucks County) for youth data and will now add targeted surveys for both youth and adults to gather information about risk and protective factors.
Perotti said the county will offer a $10 gift card incentive to encourage survey participation and asked commissioners and local partners to help distribute the survey. She said the community survey will be available on the Bucks County Drug and Alcohol Commission website and the county website, and that residents will have until May 1 to respond.
