Commission signs off on 2025 noxious weed management plan and annual report

Geary County commissioners approved and signed the 2025 Noxious Weed Management Plan and the 2025 annual report after a brief presentation from Public Works staff.
Jeremy Myers presented the documents and asked if commissioners had questions. No substantive questions were raised; a commissioner moved to approve the plan and report and a second was recorded. The commission adopted the documents by voice vote and authorized the chair to sign.
The plan and annual report will be filed as required and guide county noxious weed control work for 2025, including chemical procurement and field treatments where appropriate.
