Commissioners accept Jackson Township treasurer changes and approve tax-roll corrections, minutes

At their March 3 meeting the Board of County Commissioners accepted a township treasurer resignation and appointment and approved tax-roll corrections and minutes; votes were moved and seconded and carried by voice vote.
The Board of County Commissioners accepted the resignation of Jackson Township Treasurer Gary Hargrave, recorded Frank Hegmeier’s declination of the elected treasurer position and appointed Jamie Hageman as Jackson Township Treasurer.
The action came after a motion to accept Hargrave’s resignation, accept Hegmeier’s declination and appoint Hageman; the motion was moved and seconded and approved by voice vote.
The commission then moved, seconded and approved a set of tax-roll corrections as presented by county staff. After the motions were made and seconded commissioners voted in favor by voice.
The board also moved to approve the minutes of its Feb. 27 meeting; that motion was seconded and approved by voice.
