Teton County approves Paycor agreement for HRIS and payroll software

The Teton County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved an agreement with Paycor for Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and payroll software at its March 3, 2025 voucher meeting.
Maureen Murphy, Teton County clerk, and Justin Keiser, the county's human resources director, told commissioners the HRIS selection followed an RFP process that involved the clerk's office, payroll, the treasurer's office, HR, the sheriff's office and Fire/EMS. Murphy told the board the county settled on Paycor after about 18 to 24 months of evaluation and that implementation is planned for July 2025.
Murphy said the staff report includes an expected savings figure; at the meeting she stated the figure as "about $30 a year." The meeting record does not include a line-by-line calculation for that number.
Commissioner Carlman moved to approve the agreement; Commissioner Macker seconded. The board voted aye and the motion carried unanimously.
At the meeting Chair Newcomb confirmed that HRIS stands for Human Resource Information System. No public comment was recorded on the item.
