The Carroll County Board of Supervisors set a public hearing for March 24 at 9:30 a.m. to consider a petition to vacate Survey Lot 1 in the northwest quarter of Section 8, Township 84 North, Range 34 West of the Fifth.
Staff said the landowners, W. Warnemont and Marci L. Warnemont, are the record title owners of the lot and want the parcel combined into an adjoining farm parcel; the lot was created in 1981 and is now part of a larger farm. County staff told the board the county must publish the notice twice in the local newspaper before the hearing.
A motion to set the public hearing for March 24 at 9:30 a.m. passed by voice vote.
