SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio City Council on Feb. 28 approved contracting measures to build replacement stations for Fire Station 52 in District 4 and Fire Station 53 in District 3.
Luis Maltos, assistant public-works director, presented both projects, describing them as similar construction undertakings with new emergency-service bays, dormitories and support spaces. He told the council the projects will create permanent stations with updated facilities and additional apparatus bays.
