The Blount County Planning Commission on Tuesday voted to adopt a regional comprehensive plan prepared by Inspire Placemaking Collective and to forward the plan to municipalities, the county commission and the Department of Economic Development for further action.
Planning staff member Thomas told the commission the consultant adjusted the draft after public comments and feedback from commissioners. “The comments we received were generally favorable,” Thomas said, and staff provided a draft resolution intended to meet the statutory requirements for adoption.
