At its Feb. 27 meeting the Historic Preservation Commission postponed discussion of LD146 — “An act to increase the maximum amount of the historic property rehabilitation tax credit that may be taken in a year” — until March 13 and approved revised minutes for prior meetings.
LD146 Staff explained testimony had been submitted to the legislature and that commissioners would be briefed when the project presenter is available. Commissioners voted to postpone further discussion of LD146 to the March 13 meeting so staff and proponents can attend and present details. The motion to postpone was made and seconded; the vote was recorded as unanimous.
Minutes The commission approved revised minutes for the November meeting and the Jan. 9 meeting after motions and seconds were recorded. Votes on both sets of minutes passed unanimously. The commission also noted a staff action item to ensure the city website accurately reflects the commission’s responsibilities.
Next steps LD146 will be on the March 13 agenda for staff presentation and public comment. Staff will send any legislative materials and testimony to commissioners in advance of the meeting.
