Lynn Kenny told trustees the amendment covers the estimated cost to fund two positions for the rest of the fiscal year for "Renita and myself" (staff speaker identified changes). Kenny said the money will come from the operating fund balance and noted the request had been discussed previously at the finance and budget study session earlier in the month.
Trustees moved, seconded and approved the amendment by roll call. The amendment does not change staffing policy but provides the operating budget to pay for the positions through the current fiscal year, staff said.
