Roseburg board unanimously adds year to superintendent’s contract, extending agreement through June 30, 2028

The Roseburg Public Schools Board of Directors voted unanimously to add one additional year to the district superintendent’s employment contract, extending the district’s three-year rolling agreement to run July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2028.

Board chair introduced the item after the board completed the superintendent evaluation in executive session and asked for a motion to add one year to the contract. A board member moved and another seconded; the board then took an oral vote and recorded unanimous approval.

The board read a prepared statement praising the superintendent’s leadership. The chair said the superintendent “continues to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to our students and community,” and highlighted district-level investments in career technical education partnerships and fiscal planning as examples cited in the evaluation.
