UNI wins approval for $14 million court practice facility funded by gifts

Hager said the facility is funded entirely with gifts to the UNI Foundation and estimated annual operating and routine maintenance costs at approximately $81,000 a year.
Hager said the court-practice facility is intended to address practice-space shortages for men—s and women—s basketball and women—s volleyball and to reduce practice time taken from student recreation facilities. UNI representatives said the new facility would support competitive programs and reduce strain on the McLeod Center.
