Shawnee County commissioners approved voucher payments totaling $5,683,421.42 during the Feb. 27 meeting.
Finance staff highlighted several significant payments included in the voucher report: $105,729 to Miles Automotive for three Toyota RAV4 vehicles for the Sheriff's Office (paid from sheriff's budgeted funds); $119,700 to V C C 3 Inc. for information technology computer backup and disaster recovery services; $108,910 to Consolidated Rural Water District No. 4 as a progress payment for relocation of water lines connected with the Northwest 40th Street improvements; and $106,260.34 to Security Bank of Kansas City for bond payments. Commissioners approved the vouchers by voice vote, 3-0 (motion by Commissioner Mays, second by Commissioner Rippon).
The county clerk presented the voucher total and staff answered no follow-up questions. The voucher approval authorizes audit/finance to issue payments per the listed invoices and contracts.
