County attorney: Custer County named in Trinity Ranch partition lawsuit; county to file answer next week

Slater said the county has an answer due next week and that the county’s role will be to monitor and object if any proposed subdivision would violate county rules. He also told the board the matter is not likely covered by county insurance.
Slater said he did not anticipate the county would need to take an active role unless plaintiffs seek to subvert subdivision rules and create parcels smaller than the county’s minimums.
