American Fork council accepts FY2024 audit, approves contracts, awards road rehab and appoints David Bean

The American Fork City Council voted to accept the city's annual financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024, approved several city contracts and awarded the FY2025 100 West road rehabilitation contract while also receiving an audit presentation that found documentation weaknesses for two park-tax grant recipients.

The council's acceptance of the annual financial statements followed a presentation by the city's audit presenter. "It's basically an unmodified opinion," the auditor said, describing the audit as a "clean" opinion. Council member Hunter moved to accept the fiscal-year-end statements and Council member Holly seconded; the recorded votes on the motion were aye by the council members who responded when called, and the motion carried.
