The Hooksett Town Council on Feb. 26 approved the release of a site bond totaling $19,023.75 to Merchants Bonding Company for work at 200 Technology Drive, the town packet shows.
Town planner and staff reported the site work — drainage, driveway repairs and landscaping related to a new building behind the parcel — met the approved plan and planning board conditions. A planning‑board representative told the council the property owner completed landscaping and site clean‑up to the approved standard.
The motion to release the bond was made, seconded and approved by roll‑call vote. The minutes record aye votes from councilors who were present; the council's roll‑call announcement in the meeting transcript lists the affirmative votes and indicates the motion passed.
Councilor Bruce (planning staff) said the owners were “very nice to deal with” and that the site was cleaned up. A councilor asked for the remaining term of the landscape bond; planning staff estimated about 18 months remained on the landscape bond warranty period.
The council’s action releases the posted bond to the surety company, concluding the town’s financial hold on the site bond requirement for that parcel.
