Sandoval County appoints Nancy Jinx to District 4 seat on Ethics Board

The Sandoval County Board of County Commissioners voted Feb. 26 to appoint Nancy Jinx to the county Ethics Board representing District 4.
The appointment was announced during commissioner introductions; commissioners moved and seconded the motion and approved the appointment by roll call. The commission briefly delayed recognition until Jinx arrived; when introduced she said she had 26 years of state service and supervisory and managerial experience. "I helped to develop and also put in process perspective rules, procedures and also punishment," Jinx said, describing experience she said would be relevant to the Ethics Board.
Commissioners thanked Jinx for volunteering to serve. The appointment will be recorded in county appointment records and Jinx said she looked forward to serving on the board.
No objections or alternative nominees were raised at the meeting; the motion passed on a recorded vote.
