Corsicana ISD convened its new facilities planning committee Feb. 24 and heard a presentation from WRA, the district’s facilities consultant, that outlined building conditions, capacity concerns and a timeline for developing a districtwide facilities plan.
Superintendent Stephanie Howe opened the meeting, calling the committee “the beginning of a lot of planning for our district,” and asked members to serve as community ambassadors who will gather input and prioritize needs. Howe said the committee will meet roughly monthly for four sessions, with the next meeting scheduled for March 17.
