Greer โ The Greer City Council voted to approve second and final reading of Ordinance 5-2025, rezoning a property owned by L B R E Properties LLC at 400 West Road from Office Professional (OP) to Suburban Neighborhood.
Planning staff told the council the parcel is currently being used as a residence and is legal nonconforming; the rezoning is intended to make the property legally conforming so it can be sold to the current tenants. The request carried a recommendation of approval from both staff and the planning commission.
The council took a motion for second and final reading, and the ordinance passed by recorded affirmative votes from Mayor Danner and councilmembers Arrowood, Booker, Dumas, Bettis and Albert. No amendments or conditions were recorded during the hearing.
The ordinance changes the zoning classification on the city's zoning map to reflect the residential use and facilitate the pending sale; staff did not present additional restrictions or a development plan during the vote.
